All of our SHORT TRACK RACING EXPERIENCE race cars where built and raced for NASCAR series competition, such as NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Elite Series, NASCAR Busch Series and ASA National Touring Series.

STRE offers many different options to satisfy any level of confidence on the track. Each package includes a 45 minute classroom instruction to educate you and prepare you for what you will experience on the track. You will receive technical instruction on how to handle the car on the track, when, where, and how to brake, when to pick up speed, and the basic anatomy of the Super Late Model race car you will be driving. We will then bring you on to the track to get a feel for the layout before you get behind the wheel of the actual race car. This gives you an on the track look at what you will be experiencing, and the ability to see when to increase and decrease your speed. You will also learn how to pick a lane and maneuver around the corners.

At the completion of all driving experiences we will put you in our Ride Along car for a 3 lap ride with a professional driver to show you the track at his speed.

- Two 10 and two 15 lap sessions,
- You will receive continued instruction between each driving session.

- 60 laps
- One 10 lap session, two 15 lap sessions and one 20 lap session, all come with continued instruction between each driving session.
- Receive a certificate of completion as well as an 8x10 photo of you and your car, a t-shirt, and a video to commemorate your driving experience
- ALL STRE packages must be booked in advance.

Donny Reuvers, President of the Short Track Racing Experience and new co-owner of Raceway Park, announced a new program to help Raceway Park and Elko Speedway competitors secure sponsorship packages for the 2009 season. "In the best of times it's difficult for race teams to get sponsorship," said Reuvers, "and with the present economic climate drivers can use all the help they can get."

"It's one thing to tell potential sponsors about the excitement of the sport and the benefits that sponsors receive. It's another thing to have them experience that excitement themselves. We think putting prospective sponsors in one of our STRE Super Late Models may be just the added touch that Minnesota or Wisconsin race teams need to bring that sponsor on-board. This is just one of several things we plan to do during the 2009 season to help drivers get funding to compete at every possible event. It's good for the race teams and it's good for Raceway Park as one of our top priorities is maintaining high car counts".

The program calls for offering drivers who are NASCAR members a special $100 discount on the STRE 20 Lap Ride and Drive Experience. For $299 drivers can bring their prospective sponsors out to Raceway Park or Elko Speedway, put them in one of the STRE event cars, and then close the deal as they emerge from racecar with a huge smile on their face. Drivers can also bring along others from that corporate group and give them ride-along only experiences at very reasonable prices. Drivers who have put together a specific budget proposal can easily include this expense as part of that package.

"I know from past experience in Texas and Minnesota that drivers are naturally reluctant to put potential sponsors in their own racecars", said Mick Anderson, STRE Director of Marketing and Promotions. "It just make good sense to give that potential sponsor that experience using trained staff under optimal conditions with no risk to the race teams."

Drivers and race teams that want to utilize the "Sponsors Ride and Drive Experience" will have several options to schedule track time at Raceway Park. They can utilize established dates when STRE will be offering experiences for other groups or they can reserve a date of their choosing if they have six or more participants. Drivers can get with other drivers to purchase packages to share the costs. Similar arrangements can be made with Elko Speedway subject to the approval of Elko Speedway management.
